Local students (your future workforce!) will showcase their abilities during a series of Skilled Trade Competitions August 12-15 at the Rockingham County Fair.

Competitions will take place in the following categories:
Carpentry - Monday, August 12
Electrical - Tuesday, August 13
HVAC - Wednesday, August 14
Masonry - Thursday, August 15 

AGCVA Members - How You Can Help

VOLUNTEER
For each competition, there are materials to set up prior to the start and to clean up after it concludes.  By donating just two hours of your time, you can make a tremendous impact. Reach out to Bobby Walker if you are interested in volunteering.


DONATE
Supplies are necessary for each competition, and without them, the competition cannot take place.  If your company would like to make monetary OR material donations, please email Kirk Adams with Riddleberger Brothers.

ATTEND
The students are talented and passionate; attend the fair and stop by to watch one or more of the competitions take place.  You'll be impressed and inspired by what you see!  This is a great opportunity to get to know these students who are excited to begin a career in our industry.

All competitors will receive $20 incentive award!

Awards for the winners of each competition:
1st Place - $150 and entrance in a drawing for $300 grand prize
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50
