Construction Accounting for Non-Accountants
presented by DHG

Our speakers will be CJ HillDan Miles and Rob Oden, who are all focused in DHG's construction practice.

Accounting for the construction process; going from estimating to cost estimates to actual costs, and how / why project management and accurate forecasting matters, along with tips to make the process less painful.

Accounting is the process of recording financial transactions pertaining to a business. The importance of accurate entries makes the banks, the IRS and investors happy. But there is more. It is also an important tool for operational, financial, and strategic decision making. We will discuss why it matters – and what the important metrics really are along the stages of development in a construction project.
