Renewing Your AGCVA Membership

Registering for Events

Q:  How do I login to the AGCVA website?

A:  At the top right of our website, you will find an area to enter your credentials.  Please enter your business email and your password in this area.

Q:  What are my username and password?
A:  Your username is your business email address.  If this is your first time logging in, you should have received a temporary password from our team.  If you've logged in before, you likely have reset your password.  If you need assistance retrieving your username and password, click "Forgot Credentials" and a temporary password will be sent to you via email.

Q: I have already registered myself and/or others from my company.  Can I add more registrants for the same event?
A:  This is something our team is happy to do for you.  The system is currently set up in a way that once an individual is registered, they cannot access the same event to add registrants.  (This is the also case if you have registered someone else but opted out yourself.)  We anticipate that this will change soon, but in the meantime, if you need to register additional attendees, please email Suzanne Edwards and she can assist you.

Q:  What is the difference between an Associate and a Guest?
A:  An associate is someone who works for your company.  These are individuals whose information we have in our system, and when you register them, their name will appear in a drop-down menu located in the Associates tab.

A guest is an individual who does not work for your company (or for another member company) but that is attending an event with you.  Guests are most commonly spouses/significant others or family members.

Q:  I want to register an Associate from my company but their name is not appearing in the drop-down menu.  What do I do?
A:  This means that we need to add this individual's name to our system.  It's a quick and easy process, and once they are added, they will be able to register for events going forward, as well as receive communications from AGCVA.

There are two ways to add an associate to your company.
1.  If you are the primary contact for your organization, start by logging in.  Once logged in, select "My Associates" from the red menu on the left of the page.  You will be directed to a page that provides additional details about associates, as well as a drop-down menu to reflect those individuals already associated with your company.  If the individual in question does not appear on this list, you may click "Add a Rep" to begin the process of creating a new associate for your team.

Please note: for each rep contact that is added to your company, a username and password will need to be set.  Please provide this to the contact so they will be able to access their account. An alternative is to guide them to the Forgot your Password feature located in the Login at the top of the website so they can retrieve their member portal credentials on their own.

2.  If you are NOT the primary contact for your organization, you may either ask your organization's primary contact to follow the steps above, or you may reach out to Suzanne Edwards and ask her to add an associate to your organization.

Updating Your Member Profile

Q:  How do I login to the AGCVA website?

A:  At the top right of our website, you will find an area to enter your credentials.  Please enter your business email and your password in this area.

Q:  What are my username and password?

Q:  Why is updating my profile important?
A:  This matters for two reasons.  First, this ensures that we have the most current contact information for you, so that when we send important information, it reaches you quickly.  And second, it allows you to choose the information that you receive, and therefore, control the flow of emails to your inbox.

Q:  What information do I need to update?
A:  We recommend that you do a quick check of all information, but we ask that you specifically pay attention to the following items:

Individual profile (My Profile on the red menu):
  • First and last name
  • Work address
  • Phone number
  • Primary email address
  • Communications (select lists on which you would like to be included)
Company profile - primary contacts ONLY (My Organization on the red menu):
  • Street address
  • Company email address
  • Web address
  • Phone
  • Company certification(s) - check all that apply
