Letter from Our Chairman

Welcome to the website of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia. AGC is an organization dedicated to helping its members prosper in the ever more challenging construction economy. The association is the largest and most influential construction trade organization in the Commonwealth. Comprised of nearly 800 member firms including general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and service providers, AGC is focused upon workforce development and training, legislative and regulatory representation, jobsite safety, money saving programs and networking. Last year and this year we are reminded just how important it is to be a member of both the AGC of Virginia and the AGC of America. The work both AGC's have done for us as members is preparing us to face the new economic and political climate our government has created while protecting our interests and helping us persevere. The AGC of Virginia was selected by AGC of America as its Chapter of the Year in 2009 in recognition of its many accomplishments and services for members.
